In the era of car networking, cars have long been more than just a means of transportation. Technology has made cars more intelligent, and it has also brought us a richer in-car experience. Various vehicle control systems, sensing systems, and infotainment systems are becoming more and more important, and largely determine the level of automotive electronic intelligence technology. The human-computer interaction system is the most important way for users to use the vehicle and obtain services, which directly affects the experience of the smart car. This competition puts forward the "production, study and research", expecting to find and cultivate more innovative talents from colleges and universities, bringing new ideas and ideas to the future human-computer interaction design, and injecting fresh blood into the development of the smart car industry. .

 

In his speech, Deputy Secretary-General Li Hongyan said that creative technical talents are an important factor in promoting the sustainable development of China's automobile industry, and also help build a healthier automotive electronics industry. The Automotive Electronics Industry Alliance hosted the "Core Creation Cup" competition, hoping to cultivate and explore more innovative talents for the development of China's intelligent era automotive electronics industry, and lay a solid foundation for the independent innovation and industrial transformation of the automotive industry. Accelerate the transformation of knowledge and skills into productivity, and help build the soft power of China's electronic information industry.

 

As one of the organizers of this competition, Cypress Semiconductor has placed great expectations on this competition. Cypress President and CEO Hassane El-Khoury quoted his mentor at the launching ceremony. An example of this is that an adult in a room may not be able to come up with a good idea, but a child in a room can make more than 20 good ideas. Indeed, the automotive electronics industry in China's smart age needs new ideas and new ideas, and more young people need to join. In the subsequent multi-party dialogue, several guests conducted in-depth communication on the future development trend of human-computer interaction, the future development of smart cockpit, the upgrading of the automobile industry, and the cultivation of school-enterprise talents. All the guests thought that Chinese consumers and car dealers pay more attention to the car and are more willing to accept human-computer interaction technology. This also proves that China has an advantage in developing human-computer interaction technology. However, there are some difficulties in the development of human-computer interaction technology. For example, entertainment devices such as multimedia bring a better driving experience to drivers, but how to balance the balance between communication, product design and driving safety? And how do companies create products that are right for them? These issues still need to be constantly explored.


Therefore, it is of vital importance to strengthen technological innovation and personnel training in the field of human-computer interaction. In this respect, the guests agreed that this “Core Creation Cup” the first university future human-computer interaction design competition played a bridge and display platform. The role has truly achieved the "production, study and research", which is conducive to laying a talent foundation for independent innovation and industrial transformation of the automotive industry.

Competition summary


This year's competition is for students from universities, universities, and universities in the country to recruit works, encourage students from the automotive, electronics, automation, industrial design and other departments to participate in the competition, and also look forward to cross-professional, interdisciplinary team to participate.


● Competition time: May 2019 to November 2019

● All entries can be submitted through the official website of the contest. The form of the work can be a design drawing or a creative animation, with relevant explanatory text.

● The competition jury consists of senior experts and elites from government agencies, industry, universities and leading companies.

● The finals will be held at the "2019 Intelligent Networking Automotive Technology Conference" held in November. The final selection of gold, silver and bronze will be awarded with 10 award-winning works, awards, award certificates and trophies.

● All winners or teams will receive internship opportunities in well-known automotive electronics companies and participate in the actual modification of the design work. At the same time, gold winners or teams will also have the opportunity to study abroad.

 

It is worth mentioning that Cypress prepared a red flag CA770 sedan made in 1979 as a reference model for design and modification. The Red Flag is a pioneer of China's auto industry and a model of independent innovation, highlighting the new height of Chinese manufacturing. It is also hoped that the students participating in this competition will be able to give full play to their creative ability and innovative potential, and add icing to the Chinese manufacturing.
